Why a paid model?
Because a free prayer app becomes someone else’s product.
Free apps either burn through advertising money, sell their users’ attention, or quietly shut down. None of those are options we’re willing to take with a prayer list.
Every text message we send costs real money. Voice calls cost more. Hosting, AI, email, infrastructure — all of it has a price. Your $5 a month covers the real cost of actually delivering on the promise the app makes, and keeps us honest.
Seven days is long enough to know. If the reminders change how you pray, you stay. If not, you walk away — no card, no charge, nothing to cancel. That’s the whole deal.

- Do you really not take a card on signup?
- Correct. Sign up with an email, use everything for 7 days, and on day 8 the reminders stop unless you subscribe. We don't stash a card to auto-charge — that feels like a trap.
- What happens on day 8 if I don't subscribe?
- Your account, prayer list, history, and shared links stay exactly where they are for 90 days — you can come back any time. Reminders pause. Re-subscribe and the loop picks up immediately.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. One click in settings. You keep the product through the end of the period you paid for, then it stops billing. No retention calls, no guilt flow.
- Do you have student / ministry / hardship pricing?
- Yes — email us. For full-time ministry, students, or anyone for whom $5 is a real hurdle, we have quiet discounts. The app shouldn't be gated behind means.
- Will you ever sell or share my prayer list?
- No. Your list is yours. The subscription exists specifically so we never have to monetize your data to stay alive.
